Roles and Tasks Perform welding type SAW per AWS, WPS, and/or work instructions, using specific equipment to join the cans. To join the pieces of metal leagues, performing the proper finishes by submerged welding machine, or others. Use crane. Perform the check-list of the machine, making the exchange of the submerged arc wire whenever necessary. Ensure the quality of processed products according to the standards of control. Optimize the means and tools placed at their disposal. Avoid unnecessary downtime in the process; ensuring productivity and daily targets are achieved. Filling in all inspection and production forms associated with operations as required. Attend training program when called. Perform other tasks related with the requirements for the exercise of the function. Perform other tasks per supervisor s instructions. Respect Safety Standards and use of PPE. Clock-in and clock-out (mark attendance with the punch card) at the beginning and at the end of the shift. Execute clock-in and barcode reading in the SAP stations at the beginning and at the end of each task in production. Carry out activities related to 5S in the area, and/or as per supervisor s request.   Profile / Professional Competencies Education Requirements: High School or equivalent Standards and safety procedures; standard operating procedures; operations of MIG weld and weld in submerged-arc. AWS, WPS, and drawings interpretation. Languages: Fluency in English IT / Technical Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge; SAP Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years Position Requirements Special Conditions / Requirements: The employee will frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employee will be required to regularly use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.
